TruVa FAQs
FAQ
Q: How much herb can my chamber hold?
A: The chamber of the Truva holds approximately .8 grams of dry herb.
Q: Can I use this device for substances other than dry herb?
A: No. You can not put anything besides dry herb in your chamber or it will render your device useless, as the chamber and mouthpiece will clog, and the device does not heat enough to burn wax like substances.
Q: How many temperature settings does my device have, and what are they?
A: The Truva has 3 preset temperature settings, of 360, 380, and 420 degrees. The green setting is low, blue is medium, and red is high.
Q: Should I see smoke when using my device?
A: You should get little to no smoke output when using your device. If you are getting large smoke or vapor clouds, you should use a lower temperature setting, as this device is meant to be virtually smokeless.
Q: Is this a combustion or non combustion vaporizer?
A: The Truva is a non-combustion vaporizer, meaning heat is not directly applied to your herb, so it should not BURN in your chamber, only brown.
Q: How do I know when my herb is cashed and I need to clean out my chamber?
A: When all of the herb in your chamber is browned you should clean out your chamber and reload with fresh herb. You can clean out excess browned herb before the entire chamber is cashed, if you choose to do so.
Q: How do I clean my mouthpiece?
A: We recommend soaking your mouthpiece in warm, sudsy water, or using 420 cleaner. Make sure your mouthpiece is completely dry before reattaching to your mouthpiece. You can also use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball to clean off your mouthpiece. When the mouthpiece gets clogged to the point where you can no longer clean it, you can use The Kind Pen app to replace it under your device’s lifetime warranty.
Q: How do I clean my chamber?
A: You can use rubbing alcohol on a q tip or cotton ball to clean off your chamber. We recommend cleaning your chamber after every 1-2 uses. NEVER soak your device in any liquid, as it will destroy your battery.
